Star Sailors Gacha Guide
Star Sailors features multiple summoning banners with different costs, rates, and reward pools. Understanding the gacha system helps you spend Gold Compass, Silver Compass, and Diamonds efficiently for the best Partner and Memory Piece returns.
Banner Types
Pick Up Recruit (Gold Compass or 160 Diamonds): Features a specific Partner or Memory Piece with 50% rate up on the featured item. Every 10 pulls guarantees a 2-star character or SR Memory Piece. 2% rate for 3-star SSR characters.
Normal Recruit (Silver Compass or 160 Diamonds): Standard banner without rate-up. Same 2% SSR character rate and 10-pull guarantee, but no featured unit focus. Use Silver Compass here when no Pick Up banner interests you.
Memory Piece Recruit: Advanced (20 Gold Memory Tickets, 100% SSR) and Common (20 Silver Memory Tickets, 25% SSR). Dedicated banners for Memory Piece equipment.
Recruit Points System
Each summon grants 1 Recruit Point regardless of banner. At 100 Recruit Points, claim the featured character OR Memory Piece from the active Pick Up banner once. At 250 total points (additional 150), claim the other option.
When a banner expires, unspent Recruit Points convert to Bond Remnants for shop exchanges. Always summon on active Pick Up banners to accumulate points toward guaranteed SSR selection.
Best Gacha Strategy
Save Gold Compass for Pick Up banners featuring S-tier Partners you need (Nina, Jen, Kaira). Use Silver Compass on Normal banners when no desirable Pick Up is active. Never spend Diamonds on summons unless a must-have banner is ending soon.
The 100 Recruit Point guarantee is your safety net — even unlucky players get one featured SSR per banner cycle. Plan summons around banner rotations and save resources for Partners that fill gaps in your team composition.
